Hotel Casa Morisca - Granada

This is a beautiful hotel with great staff, in a romantic location in the old city.

If you drive to the hotel, use their excellent directions -- but you may well find it still scary! If you stay here, think of asking for a room at the back, as the trash cans out front are emptied by the city very early in the morning and none too quietly...

The location in a 15th century Moorish home at the base of the hill below the Alhambra simply cannot be beat. Walking in the front door is like stepping back in time, and walking out the front door puts all of Grenada within an easy walk. The front desk is manned 24 hours a day with helpful, friendly people all of whom speak English (which was very helpful to me since my Spanish is worse than miserable). The rooms are small but well appointed as are the bathrooms. I can't imagine going to Grenada and staying anywhere else.

Difficulties navigating the narrow streets made finding the hotel frustrating!!! Wi-Fi speed was shockingly inadequate for remote work needs!!! Improper communication about luggage storage can be improved!!!

Very quiet and peaceful hotel, with great character. Staff were helpful and the room very comfortable. Breakfast was not cheap, but provided a good selection and was of high quality, so worth the price.

Romantic accommodation, excellent location in the old part of the city, plentiful breakfast. Location just off a very good restaurant with an amazing view of Alhambra, sightseeing and Alhambra, restaurants and wandering the streets.

Charming hotel, comfortable room, with a awesome breakfast buffet with fresh-squeezed orange juice and cooked-to-order eggs and a convenient location just a 20-minute walk from the Alhambra, making it easy to explore the area.

The venue is unique, food is appetising, excellent location in a historic district. The breakfast was lovely, we appreciated lots of meals.

This hotel is pure magic.What a beautiful building ,with an enchanting story to tell.It is in a great location for exploring Granada.

Great location near Alhambra, but breakfast is extra which adds up quickly.

I imagine driving and parking there would be challenging. Luckily we took a taxi. Some (2?) rooms have spectacular views of the Alhambra but others (like ours) just look out onto the street so make sure you know what you are getting.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the accomodations were wonderful. I would definitely recommend Casa Morisca to our friends.

Beautifully restored / converted building in a fantastic and convenient location. Great staff - friendly, helpful, and make excellent recommendations for restaurants. A very enjoyable stay - we would love to go back.

Breakfast was OK but of a slightly lower standard than everything else. Perhaps a better coffee machine would be a good start! This was only a minor point, though.
